Nha Trang

Nha Trang is located on the coast of Vietnam next to the South China Sea.  It was definitely a beautiful place, but nothing compares to Koh Phi Phi!  It was also way too touristy, too busy and too expensive.  The first day we were there, I spent time relaxing and swimming in the ocean.

Arrived at the early morning hours, the sun just breaking through.

A man poped up while I was swimming with a speared puffer fish.

Mud bath in the afternoon.

Our tour guide Pooky from Thailand!

Locals having night picnics along the beach.

The following day we went to see the giant buddha at the pagoda and walked around the city.

Andrew, a new British friend and I.

I stood inside this bell and received a prayer from a monk as he rang it, very spiritual experience.

After spending a couple days here, it was time to hit the road again to Hoi An.  Sleeper train round two!
